A New Writer's Journey

Working on a book series feels a little like walking through a dense forest at night. The view is never fully clear. Sometimes it’s foggy and shadowed. Other times, the moonlight pours through the treetops and lights the way. Everything then seems to glow and come alive. That’s what writing the Prewritten Saga has been like. It’s been a mix of stumbling over my own feet, discovering myself as a writer, and catching all the little sparks of magic I find along the way.

Not every day that I write is easy. Some days are filled with half-scribbled sentences and stubborn paragraphs that just won’t cooperate. Other days, though, it feels like the words write themselves and come to life on their own, and I get to come along on the adventure. Those are the moments that remind me why I keep going, even when the journey feels uncertain and sometimes a little scary.

At its heart, writing isn’t just about finishing the story. It’s also about sharing pieces of myself and the things I love. I hope that when readers step into the world of Azu’Rahn, they’ll find a place to escape to, to find courage in unexpected places. I hope readers can find a little spark of hope tucked between the lines and hidden within the pages.

The story is still growing, and so am I. I have a lot to learn as a writer, and I’m excited to have you join me on this journey. So, under the twin moons of my imagination, I’ll keep writing, one page at a time, until the world of Azu’Rahn is ready to be shared.

If you’d like to walk this path with me, I’d love to stay connected. Whether it’s through my blog, my newsletter, or simply by returning here from time to time, there’s so much more to discover, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
